Bio
ThomasAnn KaudleKaule is 17 years old and resides north of Lawton,
Oklahoma. She is a senior at Elgin High School and attends
Great Plains Technology Center where she is taking classes in Nursing
Assistant.
ThomasAnn is the granddaughter of Thomas and Barbara KaudleKaule and
the daughter of Ford and Thomasina Sankey. She is the second oldest of
out of 3 brothers and 2 sisters and she also has many adopted family.
ThomasAnn is of Kiowa, Apache, and Comanche descent. On her Kiowa
side, she is descended from the Kopepasah, Akoneto, and KaudleKaule
families and is a descendant of Sitting Bear. On her Apache side,
she is from the Klinekole family. Her Comanche descendants are
from the Chibitty family. On her great grandmother, Wilma
Chibitty, brother was the late champion war dancer, John “Woogie”
Watchetaker and the late Comanche Code Talker, Charles Chibitty.
ThomasAnn loves to dance at powwows whenever she can and has been
dancing since she could walk. She dances and competes in the buckskin
and cloth categories in and out of state.
She has held the titles of 2005-2006 Junior Miss Indian Oklahoma City,
2006-2007 Oklahoma City PowWow Club Princess, and the 2007-2008 Junior
Miss Indian Oklahoma. Her hobbies and favorite pastimes are
learning about the culture of her tribes and spending time with family
and friends, meeting new people and making new friends as well.
ThomasAnn's platform is “ Alcohol Awareness for Native Americans.”
